This traditional Maori 4-ply round braid was often used to make handles for flax kete (baskets). Here I have woven in silver to create a bracelet.

This bracelet measures approximately 13cm long with capped ends. The braid has been shaped into an oval and with gentle pressure can be adjusted to fit any sized wrist. All components are sterling silver.
